1. Our Services

Gold Emporium buys gold jewellery, silver, diamonds, diamond jewellery, Krugerrands, and gold bullion. We offer in-store valuations, home appraisals, and instant payments in Durban and surrounding areas.

2. Valuation Process

• All items are tested and weighed in front of you using professional equipment.
• Valuations are based on current live market gold and diamond prices.
• We reserve the right to refuse purchase of any item at our sole discretion.

3. Offers and Acceptance

Any offer we make is valid on the day it is given. Once you accept our offer and receive payment, the transaction is complete and ownership transfers to Gold Emporium.

4. Payment

• Payments are made instantly in cash or by EFT.
• Large transactions may require additional verification.

5. Refunds and Returns Policy

Due to the nature of our business, all transactions are generally **final and non-refundable** once payment has been made.

However, if we later discover that any item is counterfeit, fake, or not genuine (including gold plated, filled, or heavily adulterated items), we reserve the right to:

• Reverse the transaction
• Request the return of the payment made
• Retain the item and recover any loss

You agree to cooperate fully in such cases and return any payment received if requested.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You confirm that:

• You are the legal owner of the items being sold
• The goods are not stolen, counterfeit, or subject to any legal claim
• You are over the age of 18

7. Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the transaction. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and POPIA.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Durban courts.
